• The Golden Highway Upgrade Package 1 project involves upgrading a two kilometre section of the Golden Highway near Ogilvies Hill and a four kilometre section between Bowmans Crossing and Saddlers Creek, approximately nine kilometres west of Jerrys Plains.
• The upgrades are part of a package of work being delivered on the Golden Highway, between Whittingham and Dubbo, to improve safety, traffic efficiency, network reliability and freight access.
• The project includes; complex traffic management allowing for thoroughfare of oversize and over mass vehicles at all stages of the works, bulk earthworks, drainage, pavements and heavy duty deep lift asphalt works.
