- The new Barrington Bridge was constructed on Thunderbolts way at Barrington. Key components of the scope of work include road upgrade to approximately 250m either side of a 4 span super T-girder bridge which is 108m in length.
- Construction of the bridge over the Barrington River entailed particularly sensitive environmental considerations due to the vulnerable Southern Myotis (micro bat) habitat under the existing bridge and also maintaining passage for the Bass to migrate the river.
- Works include detailed earthworks including guide banks and rock armour for spill-through embankments, pavements, stormwater, traffic and environmental management and landscaping
